The Erin Condren Planner

If you read my post yesterday, you'll now know that I'm a self proclaimed 'keener'. Therefore, it should be no surprise that as I'm impatiently awaiting school to begin, I've been thinking of some tools that may help this teaching rookie stay organized. While looking for advice from other teaching blogs, I happened to stumble across someone's comment that recommended the Erin Condren line. Once I found her site, I immediately fell in love with the Erin Condren Teacher's Planner. Isn't the one below gorgeous?

After spending the rest of my afternoon reading all about her planners, I decided upon the following:

The pros:

1) Super cute and durable!

2) I also love that there are inspirational quotes throughout.

3) It includes absentee logs, lesson plan templates, student checklists,  as well as, a 2-page monthly spread.

4) It's also customizable!

The cons:

1) The biggest deciding factor for me is the price. $59.00 without the shipping and customs fees is pretty steep for this intern! I guess I'll have to keep drooling over it's amazingness until I land my first teaching job.

2) As an intern, I don't know if I would be able to make full use of all it's awesome features.

For now, I'm left eyeing the Erin Condren Life Planner (as I could see myself using it more regularly). This beauty is one of my favorites:

As a student, I'm confident that it would be more useful to me than the Erin Condren Teacher's Planner.  I'll let you know if I decide to order one!

What kept you organized through university? As an intern, would you consider buying a teacher's planner?
